Memorial Services
The pastors, staff, prayer teams and the congregation of the First United Methodist Church extend our deepest sympathy to anyone who has lost a loved one. All of us wish to offer our services to you in your time of special need.
Our pastors will meet with you and your family to discuss your wishes for a service. We will assist you in selecting familiar hymns or scriptures to create a fitting tribute and remembrance for your loved one.
We can offer our Sanctuary, Ministry Center or a smaller, more intimate space, with an organist or pianist and soloist to perform your favorite music. Our staff will assist in planning a memorial bulletin or reception on our campus, if you desire.
Our care for you continues after the day of the service. Our pastors are available for pastoral care and are able to refer you to other groups or professionals to assist you and your family in your time of grief. Please contact the church office for further information.
Baptisms
We look forward to sharing this special life celebration with you and your family. If you would like to be baptized, or baptize a child, please contact one of our pastors through the church office. The pastor will have a meeting with you to describe the special occasion and answer any questions you may have.
Weddings (Amenities)
First United Methodist Church is proud to offer two locations for weddings in beautiful Santa Rosa.
(1) Our main campus, located on Montgomery Drive, can seat up to 225 people comfortably and offers a newly refurbished sanctuary. The sanctuary is complete with stunning stained glass, an outstanding organ, refurbished pews and a new sound system.
(2) The Stony Point campus is a more modern building, opened in 2006, that seats 125. Gorgeous light shines in from the skylights above. Gardens of lush green grass and flowers surround the building. A new sound system with an extensive sound board is offered. There is also a screen built into the wall for showing a slide show or special video.
*Both campuses offer dressing areas for the bride and groom. We have a wedding coordinator that will help you with every detail of your special day. Of course, our pastors look forward to sharing your joy and offer a marriage workshop prior to the wedding.

We assume Christian values in marriage, but impose no tests of belief or membership of any kind. Any couple ready to make a serious commitment to love each other in mutual relationship is welcome to have their wedding here.

Organist (Montgomery campus only)- $150
Pianist/use of piano (Montgomery campus only) - $100

A $100 deposit is due at the time of booking with the remaining fees due 30 days prior to the wedding.
