The Youth Ministry of First United Methodist Church provides youth with a fun, safe, exciting, Spirit-filled opportunity for faith development. We are open to all youth, grades 6 through 12. BRING A FRIEND!

We know Youth Group is about fun. But we listen to God’s word first, discuss among ourselves, and make the message relevant to our lives. We make sure our Youth seeks God’s Kingdom first (Matthew 6:33).

Let's have fun and enjoy food!
As much as we focus on having a fellowship with God, we encourage our Youth to build healthy, safe, and enduring friendship with each other. Thus, game and dinner are integral part of our Youth activity.

Learning to serve our community
We teach our Youth to be not only faithful servants of God but also responsible citizens. Many of our youth engage in service through Sierra Service Project and attend and/or become Leaders in Training at the United Methodist sponsored Camp Lodestar.
Fall 2021 Youth Group Meeting
Beginning in August 2021, Youth Group finally resumed its bimonthly meeting at Stony Point. Come, join our spirit-filled, excitement-driven, and food-filling gathering, and leave satisfied.
4:00-4:15 p.m. Gathering & Free Games
4:15-4:45 p.m. Worship
4:45-5:00 p.m. Small Group Discussion
5:00-5:30 p.m. Group Activity/Games
5:30-6:00 p.m. Dinner
