WHAT TO EXPECT

Where are you located?

We have two Santa Rosa locations: Montgomery Campus (1551 Montgomery Drive, Santa Rosa, CA 95405) and Stony Point Campus (2150 Giffen Avenue, Santa Rosa, CA 95407)

When are services?

Beginning November 1st through January 31st, we will have all services at the Stony Point campus.

Traditional English service at 9:30 am
Contemporary English service at 11 am
Vakaviti (Fijian) service at 12:30 pm

How should I dress?

We want you to feel comfortable. After all, we are delighted that you're joining us and want you to be more focused on the service than what you're wearing. In the summertime, it's not uncommon to see people wearing sandals, shorts, and a shirt. Others prefer to still put on their "Sunday best," and that's fine too! We think you'll fit in no matter how you dress.

I am a LGBTQI+ person. Am I welcomed?

You are wanted and welcomed here!

Where should I park?

At Montgomery, there is a small parking lot just east of the church, with lots of street parking in the area. At Stony Point, there is a parking lot in front of the buildings, as well as across the street at RL Stevens Elementary School.

What do you offer for children?

Each Sunday morning we offer Nursery Care for infants & toddlers during the 11:00 Contemporary worship service (ages 0-4). as well as Sunday School programs for children (ages 5-10) during those times. Those children join worship for the first part of the service, and then adjourn to Sunday school except on the first Sunday of each month when we all stay together to celebrate the Lord's Supper. Youth (ages 11-18) are welcome to join Sunday morning services. In addition, we offer Youth Group meeting every 2nd and 4th Sunday of the month at 4 pm at Stony Point Campus.

Can I take communion?

Yes! We welcome everyone to participate in The Lord's Supper, and provide non-alcoholic juice and gluten-free bread.

I have a hearing problem. Is there any help for me?

At Montgomery, you can pick up a hearing assistance device from an usher.

What if I would like to pray with someone?

We have prayer cards available in worship. There's a prayer team ready to serve. Various groups meet regularly to lift joys and concerns. You can call the church at 707-545-3863 for pastoral needs, and go to this website for Prayer Requests: http://www.fumcsantarosa.org/caring-and-prayer

Will I be asked to give money?

Although we collect an offering at each service, and welcome your joyous and prayerful response, it is completely up to you whether you want to donate or not.

Will I (and my family) be sure this is a safe place to worship and have fellowship?

We follow Safe Sanctuary Policy in order to protect children, youth, and vulnerable adults. Please read Abuse Prevention for Work with Children, Youth and Vulnerable Adults
