Rev. Sekove Veisa

Hailing from Ono I Lau in the Lau Province, one of fourteen provinces in Fiji, Rev. Sekove Veisa was called to ministry in 1974.

Pastor Sekove has been in the ministry for forty years and has served as a Delegate in the Billy Graham Crusade in the Netherlands, as well as a Chaplain in the Fijian Military for six years, most notably in Sinai, in the Middle East. Appointed as Divisional Superintendent, Reverend Sekove also served in Macuata, a district of nineteen circuits; Ba, a district of eight circuits; and most recently in Bau, a district of nineteen circuits. 

Pastor Sekove and is looking forward to serving his brothers and   sisters in the California/Nevada Conference. He is excited to learn and understand a new culture and to explore the ways in which he can serve in continuing to strengthen the Kingdom of God.

As an Associate Pastor at FUMC, Reverend Sekove is thrilled to be meeting new friends, understanding a new community and culture, visiting new places and celebrating the joy of sharing God’s love with one and all!
